Plus, it’s really easy to use! In this post, I’ll show you how to create your own expense tracker in notion. Let’s get started!
How to create the expense tracker in the notion
Step 1: On a line, click the + symbol and choose “page.”
Step 2: Choose a name for the table that you enjoy. It’s up to you.
Step 3: Please press the “Enter” key.
Step 4: On the new line, click on the + button but this time scroll down or search for and select table – inline.
Step 5: The title will be transmitted in the name column.
Step 6: Click on the tags in the table and change their name to “date.”
Step 7: Change the property type to date by hovering over it.
Step 8: Click the + in the table, name it something, and click OK.
Step 9: Change the property type to a number by hovering over it while it reads “Type.”
Step 10: Click on the column name and the format number to modify it. Select a currency from the drop-down menu.
Step 11: Repeat the same for another column, but name it “income.”
Step 12: Create a new account by clicking the + on the table. Name it Account
Step 13: Change the property type to Select and hover over it.

Step 14: Choose the + on the table and name it “receipt.”
Step 15: Change the property type to Files and media by clicking over it.
Step 16: Click the + on the table to create a new field; name it To/From.
Step 17: At the bottom of the screen, click on calculate and change it to Sum.
Step 18: Click on the “Calculate and Change” option at the bottom of Income to sort it by sum.
